Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the information you voluntarily provide: your CV (if uploaded), job title, location, skills, and any additional profile text. We also collect your IP address for rate limiting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your CV and profile information are used exclusively to generate job match results. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the service you requested.

3. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI — Your CV and job descriptions are sent to OpenAI's API for AI analysis. OpenAI does not use API data for model training by default. See openai.com/privacy.
• Stripe — Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Upstash — Session data is temporarily stored in Upstash Redis (TTL: 4 hours), then deleted automatically.
• Vercel — The app is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs apply.

4. Data Retention

Session data (including your CV content and job results) is automatically deleted after 4 hours. We do not maintain a long-term database of user CVs or profiles.

5. Your Rights

Since we don't store personal data beyond 4 hours and don't require an account, there is no persistent profile to delete. For any concerns, contact us at hello@screenply.com.

6. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics may collect anonymised page view data.
